XLFE-MIA, XLFE-MIC

The XLFE-MIA and XLFE-MIC series are designed for Zone 1 with an ‘Ex db’ optical source and meet ICAO Annex 14 standards. The XLFE-MIA features a flashing white light with an intensity exceeding 20,000 candles by day and 2,000 by night, compliant with medium-intensity type A aviation obstruction lights (FAA L-865). The XLFE-MIC provides a fixed red light with an intensity exceeding 2,000 candles, meeting medium-intensity type C standards (FAA L-864). Both series prevent optical errors associated with glass globes and include lamp bodies that act as heat sinks, avoiding the need for resin-coated optics that degrade over time.
